It’s the year 2019 and technology has pretty much taken over most of our lives, including the kids. With our busy lives, it may be difficult to keep their attention off the tablet screen and on to something educational. This is why we are giving you a list of educational toys that could keep your child occupied and educated at the same time.
1. The Wooden ABC/123 Block Set: Playing with blocks isn’t just fun for your child, it’s a great way to teach them problem-solving and gross motor skills. Wooden blocks are a solid choice because they aren’t made of plastic and they will stand the test of time.
This 50 block set will have your 2-year-old stacking (and knocking down!) their creations. The ideas are endless when it comes to blocks–besides building they can also sort, learn the alphabet, and much more.
2. Deluxe wooden standing art easel: Allows your child to make any room an art studio with a double-sided, adjustable-height easel. Includes a dry-erase board, chalkboard, locking paper-roll holder, child-safe paper cutter, and 4 easy-clip grips. A plastic tray on each side holds art supplies.
3. Band in a box drum: Kids will love to shake, rattle, and roll with a unique wooden Band-in-a-Box set of hand-crafted wooden rhythm instruments! Use the mallet to shake or rub the guiro, twist and turn the bendable kokiriko, gently thwap the foam beads on the spin drum, and use the mallet to scrape and tap the double bells of the agogo. Sturdy wood materials stand up to lots of joyful noise-making, and also produce wonderfully satisfying sounds. All instruments store in the convenient wooden box. Band-in-a-box is a great introduction to musical instruments, and helps teach children listening skills, auditory discrimination, and fine motor skills.
